Video

In my Advanced Typography class, I created a captivating video tribute to Palestine. The video opens with a poignant poem by Mahmoud Darwish, setting the tone for the narrative. As the poem unfolds, the video transitions seamlessly into a visual exploration of Palestinian cities, each presented with its name in Arabic script.

To add depth and symbolism, I incorporated masks representing the distinctive features of each city. For instance, Gaza, renowned for its chillies, is represented by a mask adorned with this iconic symbol. Through this project, I aimed to celebrate the rich cultural heritage and resilient spirit of Palestine, paying homage to its history and identity through the lens of typography and design.
