Designed to provide a tangible means of expression, the project introduces an “emotions calendar”, where children with the support of the parents, can document their daily feelings. The calendar features stamps that portray different emotions such as sadness, happiness, anger, stress, excitement, and fear. Stampy serves as a communication tool for non-verbal or emotionally challenged children, offering a visual representation of their emotional state. Beyond personal expression, the calendar is a tool for parents to track their child's emotional fluctuations and identify potential concerns. To capture the essence of this multifaceted concept, I delved into both Latin and Arabic typography, seamlessly combining the two scripts to reach a broader audience and convey the universal nature of the message. The poster itself is a collage of images sourced from my personal collection, showcasing textures and elements that I believe embody the spirit of Palestine. Additionally, I incorporated archival imagery from Palestinian history, adding layers of depth and historical context to the visual composition. With a vision to explore the parallels between Western and Arab musical artists, I crafted a unique narrative that celebrates the shared charisma and resonance found in their performances. Each page of the book features a pair of artists who evoke similar emotions or possess comparable vocal prowess, such as Adele and Fayrouz. To bring this concept to life, I adopted the Anaglyph style of design, allowing me to juxtapose two artists on a single page. Utilizing red and blue cellophane wrap, I incorporated a reveal mechanism that enhances the interactive experience for the reader. Additionally, the circular design of the book ensures ease of use and navigation, inviting users to explore the connections between different musical traditions and cultures. Tasked with selecting a word and bringing it to life in three dimensions, I chose the word "DREAM” and rendered it in a bubbly, whimsical typeface. Utilizing CNC technology, I meticulously crafted the word to be one meter long, allowing it to occupy physical space with a tangible presence. To capture the essence of the word, I ventured into various environments, capturing photographs of the 3D typography against backdrops that evoked the theme of "DREAM." Whether through literal interpretations, abstract compositions, or stark contrasts, each photograph sought to encapsulate the essence of the word in its own unique way. In response to this challenge, I conceived a dynamic concept aimed at fostering connections and engagement within the metro community. At the heart of the idea is a novel approach to personalization: metro users are invited to take a personality test through interactive screens located in metro stations. Based on the test results, a unique character is generated, reflecting the individual's personality traits and preferences. This character is then immortalized on a sticker, which users can affix to their metro cards. The stickers feature a distinctive QR code, enabling users to scan each other's codes and collect characters. To incentivize participation, users receive rewards, such as metro card points, for every ten characters collected.
