FREEDOM
Poster Design
In my Advanced Typography class, I embarked on a creative exploration of the concept of freedom, specifically through the lens of Palestinian identity. The poster serves as a visual narrative of how Palestinians perceive and envision freedom in their daily lives. To capture the essence of this multifaceted concept, I delved into both Latin and Arabic typography, seamlessly combining the two scripts to reach a broader audience and convey the universal nature of the message.
The poster itself is a collage of images sourced from my personal collection, showcasing textures and elements that I believe embody the spirit of Palestine. Additionally, I incorporated archival imagery from Palestinian history, adding layers of depth and historical context to the visual composition.
Through this project, I aimed to evoke a sense of solidarity and understanding, inviting viewers to reflect on the meaning of freedom within the Palestinian context and beyond.
